About Us

The company was established during 1985 in Cape Town, South Africa, where it followed the German tradition of designing practical, robust equipment.

Originally active in the design and manufacture of equipment for various diverse industries, including poultry and fish processing, fruit sorting and handling and concrete block making equipment, Profile Concrete Equipment gained a reputation for being an innovative engineering design and manufacturing company.

In 1995 the focus was placed on the design and manufacture of equipment to meet the needs of the building and construction industries.

Today we boast a highly sophisticated range of concrete brick, block and paver manufacturing equipment. The range starts with small manually operated machines capable of producing just a few hundred blocks a day, and extends to fully automatic microprocessor controlled plants with outputs in excess of 60 000 bricks per shift.

All our equipment is robust, reliable and easy to maintain - thus ensuring minimal downtime. Designs are innovative, with the emphasis on practical operation and high production. Products, which include hollow blocks, bricks and pavers of various shapes, sizes and shades, are consistent and of high quality.

Profile Concrete Equipment designs and manufactures equipment to meet the needs of the building and construction industries worldwide, concentrating on Africa and developing countries. This includes concrete batching and mixing plants - ranging from volumetric to weight controlled operations - pallet and material handling systems, vibrating tables, various sizes of screw conveyors, in addition to manufacturing mould boxes for any make of block machine.

Our plants are installed and commissioned by senior technicians who provide comprehensive operator training, combining practical and theoretical instruction. Our other services include consultancy, block / paver design and plant layouts.
